WOODEN CHALETS ON STILTS

Two of the chalets have a double bed each, one of which is self catering.

Each chalet has a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee, tea, mild and sugar. The self catering chalet also has a small stove with oven. Two chalets have two three quarter beds each – also equipped as above. All four wooden chalets overlook the swimming pool with a rock art waterfall. We also have a parked caravan (two double beds) which is air conditioned and fitted with a fridge.

All the above accommodation are serviced every day.

Caravan and Campsites

Caravan stands for 20 caravans/motor homes/tents. All equipped with electrical and water points. There is a communal “boma area” with braai stands as well as gas stoves (guests to provide own gas bottles),
fridge and electrical points under roof with a table and chairs and a wash basin.

The park has six double shaded stands and one single shaded stand. Braai stands are available and dust bins are placed at all stands and cleaned twice a day.

Overlander tourists on their way to and from Africa are also catered for. The owners, Abel and Elsa Jonker, serve excellent bushveld dinners in the bush restaurant.

The place is located about 10km north of the city, next to the N1. we stayed at the grassy campsite, which has some trees, power points, dishwashing area and a separate space with roof, braai, and power plugs large enough for groups. ablutions are at the maun area, very neat and even with towels and soap. there is a pool area next to the chalets, and a small bar.since the highway is close, you will hear it at night, but its still a nice stay-over. you can walk around the area, there is a dam with a number of birds. guinea fowl will be heard a lot. a private game ranch is one of the neighbours (south), so you may see other game at their fence.camping was R200 per site.

Nice green gardens.. nice little dam in the area, when it's not dried out. Not top much to do except braai with friends, swim and taking a walk on the premises.

Nice intimate campground with a homey feel in the sparkling clean bathrooms, nice pool area. The bar where the (limited) wifi is, is very neat with various artifacts and animal heads but it's the people's living room which is a bit awkward. Nice people and pubs
